 These guys are on another level! Mantas is a great mentor with a critical ear and a wealth of knowledge. The studio runs smoothly and they were happy to answer any questions I had about dj-ing, producing, events organising etc. Besides the technical side I enjoyed having more general conversations about the electronic music scene (or holidays/dogs/life!) with them as well. Their personalised approach made the experience very special. |

About meHaving studied classical music at university, it has always been at the forefront of my life. But dance music took hold when I moved to London. I came to BECOMEADJ with a love of Deep House and basic commercial music, a Traktor controller and a week in Ibiza. I wanted desperately to be up on that stage, waving my arms and making people jump up and down. What I have discovered however is a whole new art form, and a new perception of dance music and DJing and now there's no going back! |
The team teach very organically - always at a pace right for you and in a style best suited to your learning. I started lessons 9 months ago and I am now producing my own techno, playing regularly and pursuing a carrier as a DJ. And I've made many new friends along the way |
About meI am Dutch but currently based in London, I have been for the past 5 years. I have always felt a special connection with Electronic music from a young age. I started listening to tracks from John Digweed, Sasha and Richie Hawtin when I was about 13, I was instantly hooked by their style and sophisticated sounds. Listening to Techno and Tech House was a way for me to escape a certain state of mind, it has the power to turn a negative emotion into something positive. It is only after discovering the Rave scene that I really said to myself that Dj'ing and Music Production was something I wanted to do. |
Im very glad to have chosen to learn it here, I have learnt so much in such a short space of time, I couldn't recommend it enough. Mantas is a real motivation. |
